Abstract

This article explores the compilation and authentication of Hadiths related to the reasons for revelation (Asbab al-Nuzul) of selected verses from Surah Ya-Sin, Surah Saad, Surah Az-Zumar, and Surah Ha-Mim as-Sajdah. The research systematically collects narrations from classical sources and evaluates their chains of transmission (Isnad) to determine their authenticity. By distinguishing between authentic (Sahih), good (Hasan), and weak (Daief) narrations, the study provides a reliable contextual understanding of these Qur’anic verses. The findings aim to enhance both scholarly exegesis (Tafsir) and the devotional comprehension of these Surahs, highlighting the historical circumstances that prompted their revelation.
