Refund Policy
1. Open Access Policy:
The Journal of Religion and Society (JRS) is committed to open access publishing and does not charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) to authors for publication. Therefore, refund requests for article publication fees are not applicable.
2. Refund Scenarios:
Refunds may be considered in the following situations:
- Duplicate payment: If you have been charged twice for the same article submission, a full refund will be issued for the duplicate payment.
- Technical issues: If you encounter technical difficulties during the submission process that prevent you from completing it, and you can provide documented evidence of the issue, a full refund will be issued.
- Withdrawal before review: If you withdraw your article submission before the review process begins, a full refund will be issued.
- Editorial rejection: If your article is rejected after peer review, a partial refund of 50% may be issued. This is to cover the initial administrative costs of handling your submission.
3. Refund Process:
To request a refund, please contact the JRS editorial office at [insert email address] with the following information:

- The article title and submission ID
- The reason for your refund request
- Any relevant documentation supporting your request (e.g., duplicate payment receipt, technical error report)
4. Processing Time:
