The Use of Kalima in Punjabi Qisse (Narratives/Stories)

Abstract

This research paper deals with the first basic concept of “Tauheed" which based on kalmaـ a ـTayyaba, in the classical qissa's. "Tuheed" based on the "Oneness" of God.Tauheed is the base of Islam. Its main and fundamental concept of Tauheed. Punjabi classical Poetry also created on this base with particular reference to Kalma-e- Tayyaba. Its core belief of Islam and foundation of Islamic concept. This research examine Punjabi poetry, i.e rooted deeply, spiritual and cultural trends, conveys clear concept of Islam with oneness of Allah. By focusing on classical Qissas and expressions of poetry. Also highlight the role of literature in spreading and pressing Islamic beliefs. Kalma-e-tayyaba declarer the oneness of Allah and Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) is not religious statement, with complete philosophy of life. Punjabi poets make this concept of Tauheed, accesable to people. Poetry reflects deep devotion, spirituality and direct religious connection. Selected Punjabi poetic texts presenting the concept of Tauheed poets most emphasize submission to Allah rejection of shirk and complete trust on Allah. Poets also emphasize submission to Allah rejection of shirk. The study presents the significant role in shaping the religious concept of society, as bridge between Islamic thought and understanding that shows faith, culture, and literature are writer connected. Punjabi poetry through Kalma-e-Tayyaba is powerful, heartfelt presentation of Tauheed. Its not only strengthens religious belief but also strength spiritual values like love for God, Respect for Holy Prophet (ﷺ) and moral value. It’s a better study of Islamic theology with in south Asian literature and trends.  The article presents a glimp of Punjabi poetry in which directly KalmaـaـTayyaba has discussed.
