An Analytical Study of the Writings and Ideas of Selected Contemporary Atheists in the Light of Islamic Teachings

Abstract

Human history reflects humanity’s innate inclination towards belief and submission to a supreme power. Archaeological evidence indicates that various civilizations practiced the worship of idols and multiple deities. However, the revelations of Holy Quran affirm that the universe is created, sustained and governed by only one God, Allah the Almighty. All the prophets approximately 1, 24,000 conveyed the same fundamental message of Tawhid (Oneness of God). In the contemporary era, the rapid integration of modern media and intellectual trends with Muslim societies had led to the weakening of belief in Tawhid. This vacuum is increasingly being filled by atheistic ideologies, which advocate the exclusion of God from human life and promote a materialistic worldview. As a result, atheism is gaining influence through modern scholars, writers and digital influencers.

ہم سمجھتے تھے کہ لائے گی فراغت تعلیم

کیا خبر تھی کہ چلا آئے گا " الحاد " بھی ساتھ

In this context, it has become an urgent intellectual necessity to critically examine contemporary aesthetic thought in the light of Islamic teaching. This research aims to analyze the ideas of modern atheistic thinkers and to present a reasoned response based on Quranic principles and classical Islamic Scholarship.
